Leah began dancing intensively at Centre 58 Dance Arts Ltd. in Calgary, AB. Competing in multiple dance competitions, she has achieved such awards as Senior Dancer of the Year, Champions of Champions, the Carol Neison scholarship, and Senior Miss Calgary. After graduating from high school, Leah was accepted in to the Joffrey Ballet School trainee program in New York City. Training in New York for a year, she had the privilege of getting to work with such dancers and choreographers as Francesca Corkle, Davis Robertson, George De La Pena, Jill Johnson, Brian Carey Chung, Gelsey Kirkland, etc. Leah began teaching at Centre 58 when she was 14 years old and is excited about continuing her teaching journey at Pacific DanceArts.
