Pacific DanceArts is pleased to announce our “Art in Motion” performance. This year we will be presenting a collection of works by emerging chorographers. The choreographers were tasked with the added challenge of creating works that kept physical distanced from one another. While watching the pieces the viewer will forget about physical distancing and enjoy the beauty of “Art in Motion”.
Our six emerging choreographers hail from PDA’s half day intensive program. The works were created on dancers in the half day program and our advanced program. Art in Motion will
feature “Symphonie En Quatre” a World premier by Yoko Kanomata, an artist with Ballet Edmonton, plus two works by our very own PDA faculty.
Filming of the production will take place March 7th at the Scotiabank Dance Centre. Art in Motion will be available by donation on our website. Stay tuned.
